Our Raw Material
Our Raw Material it´s beans. More specifically, something we call "underutilized beans," which includes broken, hard, dark, and irregular beans, all resulting from grain processing. Despite being underutilized in the industry, these beans retain all the properties of the grain and have proven to be an excellent source of protein and vegetable fiber.
Our ingredients
Using sustainable raw materials and nationally developed, integrated and science-based technology, we produce three bean-based ingredients for the food industry: protein concentrate, insoluble fiber and and starch. These ingredients can be incorporated into the formulation of various plant-based food products.
Functionality of our ingredients
Insoluble fiber
In plant-based formulations, fiber improves texture, retains moisture, increases satiety , and also promotes gut health.
Concentrated protein
It provides protein and aminoacid content, in addition to contributing to the structure and texture of the product due to its ability to form emulsions, foams, and gels.
Starch
It provides structure, cohesion, and consistency to plant-based formulations, in addition to being a source of gradually released energy.
